Core Values

Accountability & Fellowship

Accountability is the willingness to accept responsibility for one's actions.  We are our brother's and sister's keeper.  There are many things we can do alone, but being successful in this Christian walk is not something done in isolation.  We need each other. We are committed to building great people, not just a great church.
The Word declares "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." Hebrews 10:23-25
You will find love, affirmation, and mutual support at The Temple.

Biblical Teaching

According to 2 Peter 3:16, 17 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man (woman) of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Furthermore, Jesus says that "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." Matt 4:4
In order for men and women to be successful in their faith walk, there must be a commitment to living out the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are called to be hearers and doers of the Word. It is our endeavor to consistently give a word of hope, joy, peace, restoration, and even correction.
People might come through invitation, but they will stay because of the transformative Word of God.

Worship

Worship is not only what we do, but it's how we live.  It's an expression of devotion and adoration to our God.  In Romans 12:1 we are urged to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God.  Furthermore, worship is something done in spirit and in truth, and is not limited to a specific location, according to John 4:24.  You will be encouraged to worship passionately, unashamedly, and consistently

Preaching to the Unsaved, teaching the Saved to Serve

God is not interested in the physical attitude of prayer. It doesn’t make any difference in what horizontal, vertical, or oblong direction your carcass happens to be; if your soul is not down before God, you are not praying.
